Photovoltaic devices and light emitting diodes

This topic connected with fabrication of solar cells, photodiodes, emitting diodes. The student will get acquainted with vacuum technology, thin film deposition methods in vacuum as well as by spin coating method. The student will start to work with vacuum setups for thin film deposition. As a result of the work, a device (photodiode or light emitting diode) will be obtained based on p-n junction and Schottky barrier. The electrical and optical properties of the produced films and devices will be investigated.
