The HiLASE Centre, part of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, offers students the opportunity to get involved in research on advanced laser technologies. This internship focuses on micro-machining in 3, 4, and 5 axes, combined with the use of galvanometric scanners. Interns will gain a basic understanding of laser processing principles.
What will you do during the internship?
- Introduction to laser micro-machining and galvanometric scanning
- Collaboration on the preparation and execution of laboratory experiments
- Literature review focused on the current state of the field
- Working with modern diagnostic and optical equipment
Our expectations:
- Studies in a technical or natural sciences field
- Interest in applied research and new technologies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Basic orientation in scientific literature (including English)
- Previous lab experience is an advantage, but not required
