We had the opportunity to present Radius Centre and the internships it offers to students not only of Czech universities at the prestigious OPTO 2024 conference. This year, for the first time outside Poland, it was held in Prague. The conference, organized by students, is celebrating its 19th year and is dedicated to the fields of optics, photonics and related areas such as spintronics.
The conference offers young scientists the opportunity to present and discuss their latest scientific achievements while providing a space for networking and learning from leading experts from around the world who have been invited as speakers.
“Thanks to the Radius Centre’s participation in the OPTO 2024 conference, students were able to learn about exciting internship opportunities in the academic and private sectors,” said Alexandr Dejneka, Head of the Optics Section of the Institute of Physics of the CAS, adding: “it was a great opportunity to establish cooperation in the form of an internship.”
