Q & A

Who can apply for the internships?

The internships are designed for Bachelor’s and Master’s/Engineering students from universities who are interested in scientific, technological, and economic topics.

You can find all the information about the application process and the admission procedure here. To apply for an internship, use the contact form available for each internship or in the Contact tab.

Some internships don’t require prior experience or knowledge, just a desire to learn new things. 😊

However, there are also internships that require specific skills, like Python programming, which are essential for the role. All the requirements are listed in the internship description.

We offer great flexibility! Everything is based on mutual agreement between the student and the internship supervisor. Don’t worry, we can easily coordinate the internship with your school schedule. Additionally, you can work during the summer break or occasionally take advantage of working from home. 😊

The standard is at least 8 hours per week, but it depends on the agreement with the supervisor. The work can also be spread across multiple weekdays.

Of course! There are no limits to skill development. Some supervisors offer follow-up topics, or you can simply try something completely new.

Some internships are paid through a DPP (short-term work agreement), while others unfortunately are not. However, we believe you can still gain a lot from these internships – whether it’s the knowledge you’ll acquire or the valuable contacts you’ll make. Plus, an internship looks great on your resume and can bring you closer to your dream job. And who knows? After a successful internship, you might have the chance to transition to a part-time role or another form of collaboration at the same place where you did your internship.

Of course! Our internship models allow you to work in a group, and with the guidance of a supervisor and a junior researcher, the internship takes on a whole new dimension. You can find more information here! Just sign up. 😊

During your internship, you have the opportunity to develop in our two clubs: the Biomedical Journal Club and the AI Club. The AI Club will give you an insight into the world of programming, artificial intelligence, and its practical applications. The Biomedical Journal Club offers a deeper understanding of medical topics, as well as a chance to practice presenting and discussing research topics. You can find more information in the website tabs.

Invitations to individual meetings and detailed information are sent to the interns via email.

Internships are currently available in Prague and the surrounding area, Brno, České Budějovice and Liberec. You can find the full list of opportunities here.
