Administrative Support for the HR Department

We are looking for a responsible and meticulous intern to support our three-person Human Resources department at the Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences – a renowned research institution that pushes the boundaries of innovation in the field of information technology. The intern will work closely with HR generalists and the payroll accountant, and their role will primarily involve digitizing employee personnel files and providing administrative support.

In return, you will gain insight into the workings of the HR department, acquire a basic understanding of labor law, and strengthen your communication skills in both Czech and English while collaborating with colleagues from the HR department as well as with Czech and international researchers.

What will the internship involve?
  • document management (recording, scanning, filing, archiving, etc.),
  • preparing HR documents, primarily in connection with the onboarding of new employees,
  • handling correspondence – contacting employees when their cooperation, signatures, etc., are needed,
  • and, if interested, the opportunity to participate in other HR activities and projects (e.g., onboarding/offboarding).
What we need:
  • responsibility and attention to detail,
  • a willingness to learn and actively contribute to teamwork,
  • proficiency in written and spoken Czech and English,
  • working knowledge of MS Office.

  • flexible working hours under a part-time contract tailored to your studies and free time, at least 1 day per week, for a total of approximately 8 hours per week,
