Prerequisites: materials analysis (SEM, LOM), data processing
Student would improve an existing device for custom metal coating deposition by finding optimal parameters for the deposition process. This would require coating deposition experiments, collecting the results and adjusting the deposition system setup to improve the coating structure quality. As a result, the student will gain solid understanding of plasma coating processes. This project might develop into a bachelor’s/master’s project.
